Edwin Taylor has been fly fishing for over 30 years. He has guided on the Margaree River for Atlantic Salmon and the Bow River for trout.
Edwin has been on the board of directors of the Margaree Salmon Association and the chairman of the Margaree Salmon Association Banquet and Auction. Edwin has also been involved in the River Watch Program to help prevent poaching. He also a member of the Sam Livingston Hatchery Volunteer Society (Bow Habitat Station) and Trout Unlimited in Calgary as well as The Federation of Fly Fishers . Edwin is also a free lance writer and has articles published in magazines such as the American Angler. He has also written, performed and produced a video, Atlantic Salmon — The Margaree River”. Some of his Atlantic Salmon fly patterns can be found in such books as "Shrimp and Spey Flies for Salmon and Steelhead" by Mann and Gillespie and "Modern Salmon Flies" by Paul Marriner.
Edwin has also been fortunate to be in such productions as "Open Range","Assination of Jesse James","Shangi Noon","Little House on the Prairie","Brokeback Mountain" and "Into the West". |

Sandra Meadows-Taylor has been fly fishing for about 6 years. She first lifted a fly rod to cast over fish in the summer of 2005 in Canmore, AB. The fall of 2005 Sandra made her first trip to Nova Scotia to fish the Margaree River for Atlantic Salmon. She is now an avid fly fisher and is currently working with a great group of women to get the non-profit Calgary Women Fly Fishers Club up and running. Sandra particularly enjoys fishing the Livingston Canyon and the Elk River whenever possible.
When not fishing, Sandra enjoys photography and wine making.
